Though installing TWRP recovery don’t erase internal memory data but we recommend to back up your data first before proceeding to avoid any uncomfortable situation.

1. Backup your device data. You can follow our ultimate backup guide.

2. Make sure your device have at least 40% battery power. You can install an app like Battery Percentage on your Android device to check it easily.

3. You already have USB Driver Installed for Sprint HTC One (2013) in your PC. [Download USB Drivers]

4. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled otherwise you won’t able to transfer file between PC and Sprint HTC One (2013). [Guide].

How to Install TWRP Touch Recovery on Sprint HTC One (2013)

  1. Transfer twrp- file to your device SD Card.
  2. For Rashr – Flash Tool User:
    1. Open then app then tap on Flash other Recovery.
    2. Now select your copied file (i.e. twrp- and follow onscreen instruction.
  3. For Flashify Users:
    1. Open the app and then tap on Recovery image.
    2. Now select your copied file (i.e. twrp- and follow onscreen instruction.

You can also flash the given image file using fastboot command (fastboot setup guide): fastboot flash recovery twrp- [make sure you already unlocked the bootloader and booted your device in fastboot mode]

How to Install TWRP Touch Recovery Using TWRP Manager

  1. Download and install TWRP Manager app -> Play Store Link.
  2. Open TWRP Manager and provide root permissions. In first opening it will ask you to install BusyBox; install it.
  3. In left side menu you should see an option Install TWRP, tap on it and then tap on device name to choose right device.TWRP-6
  4. On the same screen (Install TWRP) under install section you will notice latest available TWRP version for your device. Tap on it to download and install that version. Tap Yes when a warning screen pop-up with partition details. After completing the TWRP image flashing process, the app will ask you to boot into recovery. Tap on OK button to boot into recovery.

Congrats ! You have successfully installed the TWRP Touch Recovery on Sprint HTC One (2013) and you are now free to test latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based custom ROM as well as old ROM on your Sprint HTC One (2013). To boot into recovery, first turn off your device and then press and hold Volume Down and Power button together to boot into HBOOT menu, from there select Recovery [use volume buttons to scroll and Power button to select].
